Four Generations of Service
 
Frank's Auto Service was founded in 1974 by Frank Yareseski and Robert D. Montenaro Jr. Together, they built a business founded on hard work, honest service, and a commitment to helping their community.
 
Robert continued operating the business for many years until his passing in 2024.

Today, the company is owned by Robert's daughter, Amy Ackerknecht, and operated by Amy and her husband, Keith. Together with their son Hayden Ackerknecht, who is preparing to lead the business into the next generation, they are proud to continue the family tradition of serving the Amsterdam community with dependable towing and roadside assistance.
 
While the equipment has evolved and the business has expanded into 24/7 towing and roadside assistance, the values that built Frank's Auto Service remain unchanged: treating every customer with honesty, professionalism, and respect.
